Also you could take a level 1 job and kill rabbits, worms, and bats. This would let you level a job and farm items to increase your fame all at the same time.

Yep, in fact, I'd go farther than that and take all your jobs to 10.

1-6 Right outside the gates killing the really easy 1hk bunnies, worms and bats, 6-10 in Ghelsba farming Fire Crystals. Sell the fire crystals and you have money, which, as previously mentioned, can buy tasty corn. :D

yeah my beezwax finally sold for 60k but i spent like 20k of it on scrolls

Beeswax: only worthwhile if you want to level alchemy anyway (or already have alchemy high enough to HQ it reliably). Three stacks of Beehive Chips will sell for more, and probably faster, than a stack of Beeswax, and you won't be using up crystals.

ok so i finally got my sandy fame and drain, but can someone now tell me what is the best fame raiser in bastok?

That Selbina quest that was mentioned earlier is my preferred method for leveling both Bastok and Sandy fame at the same time. But if you don't want to do that...hmmm.

Well, there's killing Bubbly Bernie. But man that's exhausting and slow. You just buy (or fish up) a Quus, trade it to the ??? next to the Lighthouse in S.Gustaberg and kill Bubbly Bernie. Then you take the Steam Clock you get to the woman in Bastok Markets and repeat.

I'm sure someone else has a better suggestion. I'm tired just thinking about leveling fame with that quest.

Yep, "Only the Best" in Selbina does the trick nicely. For just Bastok fame I recommend "Minesweeper." Trade in three Zeruhn Soots to... some Galka in Bastok Mines. Though you're still generally better off doing a variety of quests than just repeating one quest over and over.
