Genkai 2

The mobs are (Depending on where you find the information) Level 58-62 NMs. I've been trying to find a group that will do this, but, alas, thanks to ToAU, the lack of interest in the community on going to "skillup" on this and other Genkai/Coffer related activities have completely died out (It got so bad after a while I know several mages that would insist on helping just to "cap" healing skills)

So, now I ask everyone. Is it possible for me to 2 box and dual fight these NMs? >_<

72 DRK and a 55 RDM.

I've 2 box'd Genkai 1 and Mission 3-1 to Rank 5 (Coming up with a strat to 2 box 5-1 and 5-2 eventually)

Anyway, I got some blink bands, haste belts, etc. from Genkai 5 previously and will probably get other accessories to help out with this. Any thoughts?

Doubt it. DRK would probably need 74 and /NIN for Utsusemi: Ni.

1 RDM/NIN 75 + 1 WHM/BRD 75 can defeat all three NMs without breaking a sweat (I've done it this way before).

I'm not sure that a DRK72 can successfully tank them, however. No Utsusemi: Ni hurts, though they have terrible accuracy against level 70+ players.

A smn soloed my G2 mobs for me. I don't remember the level, but I assume he was 75.

A 75 THF/NIN solo'd mine for me last time, and I removed statuses from a distance (WHM). It was kind of slow going, but it worked. DRK pre-74 would probably have a hard time.

Don't DRK's have supercruel low Def too? Besides lol,.if they use /nin and a Scythe, the mob has hit all 3 shadows away before DRK gets another swing. (Goblin Smith's Blogspot lol)

Meh, I had a 75 RDM/NIN tank the G2 mobs, but when I stole hate with my DRK, they didn't seem to hit hard at all. Actually, the only one that gave problems was the tiger (any surprise there?) which if I had to box this and do it myself, I could've just 2HR'd it.

The other two mobs were pussies. Horrible accuracy, like Icemage said and negative defense.

And Sweetkitty, do you have anything worthwhile to contribute? All you've posted is a lot of negativity and ill-will towards the other members. You PMS'ing or what?

Aeni, sub whm on your rdm for -na spells, and try the tiger first. If youre losing to him, you could always switch to sword, club or dagger (assuming you have one of them skilled decently high) and souleater+blood weapon(nice trick that works a lot better than scythe+blood weapon+SE assuming you can hit). Just make sure to cancel SE after BW wears. Would be a good test to see how your drk fares. You should probably eat tavnazian tacos or some other def food, and keep yourself hasted for drain timer. I say tiger first as the dog is undead and cant be blood weaponed or drained, and the coeurl evade might prove counterproductive to bloodweapon. If your acc is fine on coeurl that one is fine to try first, but make sure if stun isnt up you have a guillo ready to silence his spells. I personally think with rdm support you could solo all three, but it might be close, so you should probably bring food and meds for backup ^^

Oh, I love how Burst was {incredibly tough} on this 60 MNK and not me when I helped a WHM on this last night. It did 63 dmg on my DRK. I wasn't even trying to tank the Coeurl either. But it landed on the MNK for roughly 2/3 of his 1,600 hp. Ouch.

I'll try the sword or axe route with my 2hr. Axe at 189, sword at 211. Hmm ...
