Friars Rope, Drain, Warp... what rank in fame must you be?

Drain : even at Windurst Rank 3-1, I could not get into the Chateau until after I got level 4 San D'Oria fame.

There's no fame requirement to enter the Chateau d'Oraguille, but if you're Windurstian and have started 3-1 but visited Bastok first, you'll have to finish that part of the mission before you can activate the cutscenes to get access to Chateau d'Oraguille. This happens a lot to people, and is a common complaint.

Also note that you do need a fair amount of San d'Orian fame before Novalmauge in the Bostaunieaux Oubliette will offer you the quest for Drain, so in that sense, you probably do need level 4 fame in San d'Oria to get it anyway.

for fame in jeuno, sandy, and bastok just trade millioncorn like 100 times or get three full inventories like a lot of stacks and your fame will increase like whoa! i was lvl 1 fame in jeuno and now im lvl6 and i was lvl 3 in bastok now im 7 dunno about sandy haven't checked it there and buy the millioncorn in bastok cheap like 43gil each small lose unlike that other grass thing but w/e good luck

Drain is rank 3 fame, did it with my mule. Moss can be easily farmed at 30ish in pashow from goobbues, bring a friend if you're a mage.
