Help To Finish This windy Quest Please?

I'm looking for some help to finish off the Star Onion Brigade Quest in Windy to get Blaze Spikes. (BLM Spell)
Can anyone help me out please?

I read up on 2 related quests in Windy you can do, to get the scroll, at the "allakhazam" site.

Know One's Onions

I have finished the first one, (and recieved the special badge. Anyone know what you do with that? I don't have a clue, apart from to sell it) but I am having a problem trying to finish the 2nd quest "Know One's Onions" (I've handed over the onions, and got the cutscene with the Cat Burglar) It says that you have to go to the "House Of Heroes" in windurst Walls, and get a cutscene when you try to enter the house, but all I get when I interact with the door is
---This door is firmly shut--- (and no cutscene whatsoever)

Some of the replies I've read for the link to that quest all seem to be different. Some are saying that you don't need to go back to the House Of Heroes to finish it, (I looked in my Quest Log, and couldn't find the names of any of those 2 quests to say that they were either "current" or "completed") due to one of the updates, others have got the cutscene from the House, but now I'm really confused.

Do I REALLY need to get a cutscene from the House Of Heroes or not?

Is there anyone else who has done this quest, and could help me out here please?

the badge does nothing. you can sell it if you're not wearing.

I'm a bit confused about where you are at right now. But the second quest is like this.

- you talk to the kids and they tell you they need onions.
- you give 4 onions to the kids leader and you'll see cut scene where they tell you to meet at the house of heroes (the kids call it ghost house i think).
- that's when you check the door of the house and see a cutscene with nanaa mihgo the cat burglars being thrown the onion bomb at.
- then you go back to talk to the kids again to complete your quest.

Hmm.... well, as soon as I handed over the 4 onions, I was taken straight into the cutscene with Nanaa Mihgo, (the cat burglar) and the kids, with one of them chucking the Onion Bomb down at her. I don't remember anything about going over to the House Of Heroes to get that cutscene. Unless there is something I missed, or that they changed it slightly in one of the updates. (like I mentioned)

Well, the main item from this quest was for me to collect the Blaze Spikes Scroll/Spell, and I have that now, so I don't know of anything more I can do to finish that quest.
I have a feeling that if I go back over to the kid leader again, (of the "Star Onion Brigade") that I may just be lead into their next quest. (I think there is one, from what I've read, though I can't remember its name)

talk to the leader again to lead into the next quest and to have that quest marked off your "current quests" list.
