Summoner Quest Please Help

I heard that you can gain the Ice effect in Batilia Downs. Am I wrong? If I am, can anybody give me brief directions, or an online map of Rangemount Pass? thanks for help

Yes you can get the ice affect in Battalia downs but its very rare, the best place to get it is that glacier place in East Sandoria at the top right of the map there is a cave, you get the ice affect as soon as you walk in because its always icey in there lol.

Directions through Rangmount pass IIRC is......

Enter via East Ronfare-> Through door-> Right-> Left -> Right ->Glacier

When I was getting my papyrus, my PT decided to go through Beaucidine to get to the lesser camped section of Eldeime. So I brought my Carbuncle Ruby with me (don't even remember when I got it). Of course, I got ice when I zoned into the Glacier...

Funny part is that I zoned into Battalia from the Glacier... and there was ice weather! For the record I believe it was VanaDiel winter at the time. Just something to keep in mind...
