How to start Bastok Rank2 missions?

I have completed all three rank1 missions...and got promoted to rank 2. The FAQ says to talk to Cleades again to get the M2-1...to get the teleport crystal. How can i engage the start of this mission? Or dun tell me the M2 cannot start becos someone gave me a teleport crystal before when i PT with them...

I start in Bastok also yet I don't know what to do. after seeing the wo boys talk. Then these two other guys. I feel hopeless cause I can't read Kanji. What do I do in the very beginning of the game. Where do I go and who do I talk to.

I'm in Bastok and got Rank 2 after completing the Quadav parts quest. I then went back to Cleades and chose the top option but when I went to talk to Cid nothing happened.

I've got a feeling my mistake was in choosing the top option becasue I think I may have accpeted the quadav mission again.

I know there is a way of checking quest status but can someone elaborate on what you do and how you find this menu?

If anyone is around Batok on Rag then give a /tell Buggalugs and we can PT together. I'm a WAR L12 Mithra.
