Mea and Beaucedine Questions

Hi,
I'm working away on my port quests, and to be honest getting a bit frustrated with the Mea one. I've been to what I think are all of the Eldieme entrances in Battalia (I believe 6-7 that I could find), and suppose I need to move on to Beaucedine since none of those have turned up the ??? point.

However, how do I get a map of Raugemant Pass and Baeucedine Glacier? Is this the map of the northlands you get on the quest in the Chateau in Sandoria?

If so, how much fame is needed to open this quest, or are specific quests required? I check the tombstone, and he still says not to bother me. I've got about 13 uniques and 25 repeats done.

Thanks!

Best Regards,
Alex

Ranguemont Pass Map you can receive as a reward from a Selbina quest. Speak to Thunder Hawk outside of the Mayor's house and you should get the quest. The quest title is "Rescue!" or something like that. You have to kill the NM in Beadeaux that drops the Quadav Charm (same one used for M4-1) and use it to open a jail door a bit to the north of where the NM spawns. You receive a key item for doing this and when you return to Selbina you get your map and 3000 gil. You need a bit of fame to do it, so if Thunder Hawk doesn't give you the quest then buy a stack or two of Boyadha Moss and give it to the rancher a bit south of the HP.

Map of Beaucedine Glacier is given from the San d'Oria quest in the castle. Talk to the gardener there, then examine the Queen's tomb and then talk to the gardener again. He'll ask you for a Derfland Humus. Give it to him and you get your map of the Northlands (Beaucedine + Xarcabard). Unsure about fame requirements for this.

I wouldn't go to Beaucedine without a map as it can be tricky to navigate. You don't really need one for Ranguemont though - if you want to goto Beaucedine, just follow these directions at the forks: Right, Right, Left, Right, Right.

Ah. Thank you! I'll work on building up my fame for the map of the northlands I guess, and then follow your excellent directions for getting through raugemont. I just hope it's there!

Yay! 12 more bat quests, and I had enough to get the map of the northlands. That, your excellent directions, and this map below, led me straight to the last entrance and my incence burned up. Woo hoo! Now back to Windhurst and then Sandoria to pick up my next port. Thanks!
