WHM wanting to do SAM

I just got the SAM quest for quite a while. I'm wondering is it possible for me ( as a lvl 39 WHM ) in killing those two monsters in the quest? Or do I need someone who can better melee attacks than me?

I did the tree in a party with 3 36s (whm, war, war) and 3 30s (blm, mnk, war) and it was a fairly easy fight. I don't think you'll be able to solo it though.
