Go to Norg and talk to same NPC(for SAMJobQuest) get the Quest.Then head to Zi-tah and kill the GoblinRobber till u get a RareEx item.This u trade to the ??? at E-8 in that same area (kill the fisch) and touch the ??? after the fight ,and head back to Norg.There u should trade the lv1 Katana u got in the beginning to the same NPC and voila

I threw that piece of crap out a long time ago....I'm not gonna keep a lvl 1 weapon in my inventory for 50+ levels and have it take up space.

I spoke with GM Clokettin, and he kept giving me bullshit responses about trying to get the level1 katana back.

His words: All I can tell you is that any Quest is completable, however it is up to you the player to find out how to do so. Does this help?

NO IT DOESNT ASSHOLE. I spoke to -every- single npc in Norg and got nothing except another quest offer. This completely sucks ass. I dont even want the sword, its terrible. I just need this done in order to unlock the other quests. Seriously, there HAS to be a way to get it back. I doubt that importers are the only ones who have done this. GMs are a complete waste, at least the one I talked to. I suggest everyone try to talk to one about this. Some may be more helpful than others. I know Duskeyard is a good GM and can help most of the time.

sorry but...i dont understand, why you throw away a rare/ex weapon/item? its your own fault, GM will not help you with this, it is not the GMs job to take care of your misstakes, so dont say he is an asshole.

First off: Yes, he is an asshole because he had the information and wouldnt give it. I needed help and he wouldnt offer it. This whole situation has put a stop in my advancement in the game and that pisses me off. There are GMs that will give you the information you need (i.e. when Cedric lost his sam quest items).

Second: Why the hell would I keep that sword for 50+ levels. I had no way of knowing Square would do something like this. I mean, hardly anyone keeps the drk quest sword, its a piece of shit. It takes up valuable item space. Besides, the drk quest sword can be retrieved any time you want, so why keep one. Isnt it possible that the sam sword is the same? I searched all throughout Norg and got nothing. All I wanted was a little push in the right direction, but he wouldnt offer it. Now, why is he getting paid again?

You are being completely unreasonable. Its not the GM's job to tell you how to finish a quest. It was your bonehead move that got you here in the first place. You said you wanted a push in the right direction, AND HE GAVE YOU ONE. His response makes its 100% clear that there is a way to get the sword back, but its up to you to figure out how. Did you expect him to just give you the damn thing? Your the player, you have to do it on your own.

Ok, you're completely taking what I am saying out of context. Like I said, I've searched all of Norg and there is no one there to help out. What, am I supposed to search the entire world in order to find out? I guarantee if you were in my spot you'd be thinking the same thing as I am. Besides, this is not only my mistake. Others have made it too. So sorry if I'm trying to be unselfish by trying to get this information so that I may help others as well as my self, or has the concept of generosity slipped your mind?

go to the same NPC that gave u the items for that weapon (Ranemaud) and he will handout another to you for 30000gil.
