pup Limit Break 5

Hello im try to do lb5 but the npc in bastok market wont let me do it all he say it same same thing he say after you get pup the 1st time im pup70
now i have my pup test what do i need to do thanks

and pup is my first job to 70 galka.

You have to trade the testimony to Shamarhaan.

When i trade test i dont get the cs i get nothing

Then you probably skipped a step getting cutscenes or speaking to NPCs, and/or have a quest pending that you need to finish before you can get this one.





Disclaimer : I don't know anything about PUP quests, but when something like this happens with other quests in XI that's usually the cause. <_<





PS > Talk to the NPC and see what he says, they usually speak about the current mission if you have one pending with them.

i dont have any quest pending but i did not do Operation Teatime and The Wayward Automaton.

According to the Wiki you need:

No Strings Attached -> The Wayward Automaton -> Operation Teatime -> Puppetmaster Blues

Only then will the quest for Achieving True Power LB5 PUP unlock.

Are those by chance the AF quests? didnt you need to have those done (or maybe started) to do the Maat type quests?

i almsot thought about doing Maat cap one of these days, but i'm actually content with leaving my Drk at 0

They are PUP AF quests, yes. You don't need AF quests for the old jobs; what you did need was the AF#2 quest (usually hands?) at least active in order to acquire the rest of the AF pieces that are in coffers.

to fight maat you dont need to do any af you just need to do lb4 then at 66+ if you kill maat already you need to go to the bcmn for the job you are doing and trade test to it
