Puppetmaster Expensive?

Sorry to dust off an old subject, but why exactly is puppet master expensive? What are the expenses?

No, but there's a lot, and once you install them in your puppet you can't get them back. (The puppet can equip and unequip them, but the unequipped ones are still part of the puppet and can't be turned back into items you can sell if you decide you don't want them.)

There's also the items required for the puppet upgrades themselves (new heads and frames).

All that said, though, aside from a few *very* expensive attachments that you probably don't really need, I wouldn't say the job is that expensive. If you mainly solo with it you'd probably make back much more than you spent through not having to share your drops (especially if you hunt things with good drops, which you can because you don't have a party to answer to).

You'd also make a bunch of seals, like a BST, although you might have a harder time beating BCNMs than a BST would.

54 attachments to buy (no, you don't "need" all of them, but the best one tend to cost more) and the higher priced ones can go for over 300k still. But, once you've bought them and installed them you're done with that part. All you have to worry about it upgrading the frame, and I have no clue how much that runs (at level 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50).

I compiled this list of the attachments on FFXIAH way back, and kept it up-to-date. It does use Bahamut prices, but the price for all of the attachments has gone down a good bit -- right now, it says 1.5 mil, it was a little over 3 last time I looked at it.
