Need Help from Jeuno!

Hey, I'm a 14/7 MNK named Ryuuhikiuu and I'm trying to purchase a purple belt and republic knuckles, but the prices at Sandy and Windy are about 15k higher total than Jeuno. I was wondering if someone would buy them from Jeuno for me and mail them?

The most I'd bid on the knuckles in 15k and the belt 5k. I'd really appreciate it

You could just run to Jeuno (or run a mule to Jeuno) yourself you know.

That said, I hope you get lucky and someone comes along and helps you out.

Yeah I know how to get to Jeuno from when I played a long time ago, but I'm worried about getting insane prox aggro from monsters, being only level 14.

That's not how aggro works in FFXI (though it does work that way in WoW). Some mobs are sight aggro, and some are sound (or both). Know which are which, and you're good to go. People run level 1 mules to Jeuno all the time.

If you're really worried, you could buy some prism powder and silent oils and make the trip that way, but honestly, as long as you avoid beastmen (gobs, orcs, yags, quadav), and certain other mobs (tigers, raptors, treants, undead) you'll be fine.

Another option is to go as a level 1 THF, and keep your 2 hour ready just in case you do get aggro. (With luck you'll be able to get away before Perfect Dodge wears.)

I just quit WoW. I knew about the sight/sound, I just thought they would aggro from farther away if you were in their line of sight or.. sound.

I'm making the run as we speak, almost to Jugner (the only part that really scares me)

Edit: Whelp, just got both for 20k total!

The idea that you need to be X level to go to Jeuno is kind of tired. A level 1 is just as susceptible to aggro as a level 35 would be going from Nation -> Jeuno.

Either buy sneak meds, or just avoid aggro.

My MNKs been sitting at level 14 for months and my purple belt has been sitting in my MH for almost as long. I've always got stuff waiting for me to use it, which I suspect is why I need so many freaking mules. XD

I quested it, but I realize that's not an option for someone who doesn't have anything higher. Those ram NMs aren't really "easy" until about level 35-40.

just remember, monk parties are the best. like above said in Qufim, you blow through stuff real fast. not great xp/kill, but great xp/hour
