|    Duoing Question I have many questions.... Sorry!! Alright I've spent about a week thinking / leveling different jobs to test this out and I need a little help as to what it'll be like @ lv 50+ & 75. Me and a friend of mine are duoing... He's a DRG~ - /DNC /SAM /WAR I'm a ???... here's the problem... PLD/DNC (Low Dmg - High Tanking - High Healing) SAM/DNC (High Dmg - Low Tanking - Decent Healing) WAR/DNC (High Dmg - Decent Tanking - Decent Healing) DNC/NIN (Low Dmg - Low Tanking - High Healing) NIN/DNC (Low Dmg - High Tanking - Decent Healing) Is this right so far? Le Sigh... I don't really know what to do.. Also.. How would a mage class fair in duoing?... Like BLM or SMN? SMN/WHM ??? (Down Time?) BLM/WHM ??? (Down Time?) As far as SMN's go... I don't mind the healing spam to 70+ but then SMN's become DD's? How much of a DD would they become? As good as other DD's? Le Sigh... Lastly.. BST/DNC ??? I don't really want to do BST/WHM (Is that required?) BST/NIN or BST/DNC mainly... Looking to be a strong duo to get... Good EXP/Hour, Hunting NM's, Some Mission's, And Joining parties when one is available..

SMN's can, technically, DD abit at 65 if you have either Fenrir or Diabolos. The other avatars get their physical BP's at 70, but those 2 get their final BP's at 65. At 70 you can pretty much make a party with a few SMN's and just run around raping things every 45-60 seconds. Your breakdown of the other combos is correct, what you end up choosing is just out of preference. IMO, tanks are scarce on Hades at the moment, so going PLD/DNC or NIN/DNC would be a decent option since you and him can easily drop duoing and go partying, since DRG are also highly sought after. Recommendation though, might be better if your DRG friend sub WHM if available for duoing. Subbing DNC you can't get rid of any status effect for quite some time, and that'd leave your DRG buddy free to spam all his/her TP on WS to kill the mob faster, thus providing more xp/hr. On the mage comment, if you level off Beastmen pets like BLM's do nowadays when they solo duo, you can most certainly duo that way. Black Mage Solo Guide - FFXIclopedia, the Final Fantasy XI wiki - Characters, items, jobs, and more Link up top is one of the well known ones that shows camps, just means you go a few levels earlier in most cases if you're going to duo. I leveled my RDM for around 1-2 levels in Yhoator Jungle back in the day doing the same thing, any combination of RDM/SCH/BLM can do this.
