I'm way late to this thread, but I think the real issue here is the fact that deebs didn't want to lvl his /nin sub. I'll admit to being guilty of this also...75rdm/21whm... The difference is I understand that sometimes partys want that /whm sub. I am very forward with the information and inform the party leader of it. 90% of the time, they are cool with me subbing /Blm. If their not cool with it, that is their right to be. Majority trumps Minority.

If i got to the point where that 10% mad me so mad that I started to complain about it in another forum...well i'd lvl /whm.

One side of me is surprised that you got red mage to 75 with only a 21 whm subjob. However, red mage is also a highly desired job to have. If you were the only red mage in that level range, then of course the leader will take you. However, if there's at least one other red mage seeking, you're going to be seeking for awhile.

It's a whole lot worse if you're leveling a melee job. If you try leveling melee jobs with gimped support jobs... it's going to be a loooooong time until you hit 75.

If you ever do endgame, finish your white mage sub....also work on your dark knight sub if you haven't already. There's no reason not to. You can't have the mentality "Oh, I don't think they'll care! They can do just fine with only my black mage sub job!"

I completely aggree with you, Mog. Unfortunatley 3 tours into Iraq in 3 years puts a damper on any sort of steady lvl progression. I've been lvling drk also for my Dynamis shell, but again, being in the military is tough, especially in my career field.

My gimp whm has surprisingly not been that much of a problem, Meripo's usually don't mind /blm. I think my macroing has helps alot in that aspect, but honestly it's bothered ME personally when I come /blm to Mamool and after a luck -aga spell goes off and the entire party is in the yellow, how annoyed I am that I have no AoE healing.

As far as progressing through the lvls up to 75, there was honestly, about 10% of the time not having /whm lvl'd became a burden. My point being was I didn't mind if people didn't want me in their party, I knew my situation, and respected their's.

As I was *I believe the term is "Trolling?"* and came across this Thread, I just felt like maybe I'd put my 2 cents in, because I've been in the same situation as deeb's and unlike deeb's, I knew the fault wasn't with anyone in particular, myself or the other players. It was just how things where.

Honestly, I think i also thought to inspire others not to just instantly point the finger at others but to understand that sometimes the way it is, is just that. The way it is.
