So you can actually gain exp from Beseiged? What is the max cap? And As a 56RDM, if I go around healing (lol wont be able to DD), it is easy to get "cap" xp?
I assume all the usual rules apply when you die (xp loss, weakness).
I also read that it is a great way to get skillups spamming AoE's - wont i get too much hate if I do, and thus die a quick horrible death? | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 02-20-2007, 03:26 AM | #17 (permalink) | | Sticky Paws Keeper of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: Southern California Posts: 2,892 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 237 Thanked 610x in 395 Posts Gil: 10,358 Bank: 126,476 Total Gil: 136,833 Donate | Re: Besieged Tips “ I’m in pain, but I’m happy.”

To clarify:
If all the NPCs arenot captured, do you automatically get these special items or do you have to find and talk to these NPC's? | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 02-20-2007, 05:00 AM | #19 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 251 Style: Light - Version 4 Thanks: 3 Thanked 21x in 14 Posts Gil: 11,217 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 11,217 Donate | Re: Besieged Tips There is no xp loss for dying in besieged.
The temporary items will be given to you automatically once besieged starts, or upon zoning into Al Zhabi if besieged is in progress. The items do not take up or require space in your regular inventory, they have their own special inventory space. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 02-20-2007, 05:17 AM | #20 (permalink) | | FFXIWiki'er FFXIWiki Team Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 1,572 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 102 Thanked 39x in 30 Posts Gil: 24,540 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 24,540 Donate | Re: Besieged Tips Cool.
How long does beseiged last *normally*?
Say I die in Beseiged, and do not get raised, choose to HP. Run straight back into Beseiged:
Will I get items all over again?
Does my exp/is points get reset?
Oo I cant wait to try out Beseged now! When is it next on? | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 02-20-2007, 07:32 AM | #21 (permalink) | | Pointy Stick Keeper of Knowledge Join Date: Apr 2004 Location: Portland, OR Posts: 2,002 Style: Dark - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 450 Thanked 359x in 221 Posts Gil: 15,699 Bank: 56,616 Total Gil: 72,315 Donate | Re: Besieged Tips Originally Posted by hongman | Cool.

While you can get new items if you HP, if the zone is full you won't get back in anyway.
I don't think dying resets it. However, leaving the zone probably would. At your level, your cap will be pretty low regardless. I would advise just to keep reraise up and just go around healing as many people as possible.
Its pretty random. Check the Besieged Region Map. When one of the enemy forces is listed as Preparing, then it means a Besieged will happen. The lag between Preparing and Attacking can take a couple hours though.

If you die and hp and re-enter then you'll get the item again and can 2-hour again. Rinse. Repeat.
I was under the impression you didn't get them back but apparently you do.

If the zone is full you'll get kicked out even if your hp is in Al-Zahbi.
