That time of night, you form a party, or hope to get picked up by a jp party.

Re: late night partyin

Well, aside from the dunes, back during the NA launch it was quite popular to go level in the Maze of Shakhrami out in Tahrongi Canyon. You might also try Buburimu Peninsula. My static had a good run there, deftly avoiding the dunes. I think one of the tunnels (Korroloka?) was popular too?

I don't think I've ever levelled a job of that level outside of those locations. Not that you can't level in the similar zones of the other nations (the three main nations each have zones similar in level to the other nations, and you can kinda measure them based on their position/distance from Jeuno.)

Unfortunately, convincing people to GO to these new zones or stay in your party long enough to try it is another matter entirely.

PS: Batallia Downs is nice to level in around level 25, if you wanna skip the dreaded jungle (Yuhtunga anyway). Just hole yourself in a funerary mound that zones into Eldieme Necropolis, and have at it. It's easy, and safe if you get links. Used to be all the rage until someone decided the jungles were THE place to be.

Re: late night partyin

I remember someone posted a link to a website that had a list of possible zones, level ranges, and the mobs to fight in those zones....

Too bad I can't remember where I saw it, but I know it's in a thread somewhere in here.

Past the dunes stage you aren't expected to seek in the zone itself but in some convenient central location instead. If you want to keep other options than the dunes open, I suggest you LFG in a town, not in the potential exping zone.

If you are L15 and have the chocobo pass, I would suggest Bastok since Korroloka Tunnel is there and you can just grab a chocobo if you get invited to Valkurm.

Campsitarus.

Make sure you use auto-translated search comments if you're seeking during JP prime time.
