First Bones
So yeah, I just had to share cause it was awesome. Got my first bones party today. Three monks, whm, brd, and rdm chaining for ungodly exp in Gustav Tunnel @ 67-68.

I thought War parties in bibiki bay were cool. Burn parties in Kuftal Tunnel blew me away. This bones thing in Gustav was just plain insane. 10k/hr XP without COR or XP ring? I havn't seen exp like this in well over a year.

I've noticed that over the last year the desire of people to put themselves at risk for better XP has become less... and less... and less... But this restored my faith in parties and made it fun again.

Who woulda thought that seeking for four hours woulda turned out so good ^^

I definitly have a new favorite partying style, that's for sure!

Re: First Bones
As you creep closer to 75 you'll notice a lot more unusual party styles that work. Bone parties with 3 monks, TP-burn against T/VT enemies in Bhaflau Thickets, Manaburn against anything not tied down, and other nonstandard variants.

Re: First Bones
personally, I love it. The variations give life to the XP grind and make it fun again. Something that has been severely lacking in XP parties for the last 40 levels.

Re: First Bones
I was in Spampages for most of 69 and 70, it was incredible. I was actually enjoying the XP grind thanks to how fast things were going, and that I ended up pulling!

Re: First Bones
Last night I was in a NIN-burn party. NIN NIN NIN RDM BRD BLM againt Sea Puks and Mamool Ja in Bhaflau Thickets. Made approximately 22K XP in 3 hours, and that's including one complete wipe on a bad triple spawn/link.

There's a lot of interesting variety in possible XP parties at higher levels which a lot of people don't realize because they're stuck in the "normal party" mentality from previous levels.

Re: First Bones
There is no question that MNK burns are some of the most entertaining parties to be a part of especially if you're the one pulling the ugly buggers. Then again I still prefers my Ulegrand Range WAR burn only because you can run anywhere and there is going to be something waiting for you.

A word of caution to you sevenpointflaw and all others who have yet to experience this. Beware a BRD that is not used to pulling, the new load of things to do can overload a lesser player in KRT and you will pay the price for it very quickly as KRT is not known for its forgiving nature. Don't hound a BRD to pull faster if he can't seem to keep up with the pace, I've watched plenty of good parties go down because the BRD went out with bloodaggro because he was trying to hard to keep up.

Re: First Bones
I have made a lot of EXP with monk burns. Also quite a lot of wipes
