Trouble finding groups

So im a lvl10 Black mage trying to find a group in sarutabaruta/Tahrongi canyon.
The problem is that i have never once seen anyone around my level looking for a group.
So my question is as follows: Do you think i´ll have a bigger chance of finding a group if i go to La Theine for example?

Thankful for any answers.

yes. most people around 10-11 will start congregating around La Theine/Valkurm/Konschtat (even though Bubu and Tahrongi are just as good

well, the thing is, people dont group at that lvl. everyone seems to solo to atleast 10-12 then head to valkrum. at lv. 10 you can head to valkrum near the konchatat border and kill lizards with a pt there.

at level 10, when i party, i always do it in valkrum dunes.

yea you're forced to go valkurm.

Yeah the dreaded dunes of Valkurm. Makes me shiver.

Korroloka (sp?!) is so much better

I remember the first time I leveled my black mage there... 10 to 15 in one session :_)

The second time I leveled a black mage there were no ppl there

I just soloed some worms and left for Dunes...

shakrami worms will start to con VT to you at level 15. korroloka at 18.
So soloing in these places I'd say you need 17 for shakrami, maybe 20 for korroloka. Unless you go with a PL.
With PT you can do shakrami at level 10 and korroloka at 15

Yes, that's it. My bad, I was wrong. A lot of time since I played ffxi.

Just replace "korroloka" with Shakrami then! :D
