BCNM60 Information ?

By using the search function I was able to find a lot of information about BCNM40, but I can find virtually nothing about BCNM60. I am looking for basic information from people who have won this BCNM before. My party will be BRD WHM RDM PLD MNK DRK. We will be using 2 hours until we can win comfortably. Assume we have optimal equipment.

As an example of the type of information I'm looking for, I'll explain BCNM40: Do BCNM40 Giddeus, it is the easiest because the mandragoras hit for the least. It also has the best drops of Erase and Phalanx. Kill the black mandragora first. Bring a bard to sleep the little white guys. Gather them together and use hordelullaby. Keep the bard alive at all costs. Kill the white guys one at a time after the black guy is dead. Kill the black guy as fast as possible so he cannot flood. If he starts casting flood: Stun him (DRK), run away out of range, activate invincible (PLD), or prepare to cast raise. Bring drinks for the mages, fish for the bard, and mithkabobs for the melees. Bring poison for the melees to prevent sleep; essential only during the MNK's 2 hour.

Please, please, please don't let this thread turn into a BCNM40 discussion. There are other threads for that. I merely gave the BCNM40 information as the type of information I was looking for, such as where and why, and the basic fight outline. I imagine that the food and bard sleeping things will remain the same in BCNM60.

Palborough BCNM60 is the easiest one.

There are 6 Quadavs, all have different jobs(I forgot what they are). You need a BRD to sleep them, RDM for silence/refresh, blm for nuking. Run in, PLD does banishga to get their attention. Take out the BLM first(RDM silences). Then the WHM. Then the other two. Then the PLD, when he does invincible you can either sleep him or nuke him. Then, do the THF last. When he does perfect dodge, nuke the hell out of him.

then, collect your crappy drops.

make sure autotarget is off.

To clarify, does BCNM60 Palborough really have crappy drops?

That is, should I just continue to do BCNM40, or were you simply making a joke?

I'm sorry, I meant all BCNM60 has crappy drops.

The only good drop is the Astral Shield, which sells for 700k on my server, and its like a 2% drop.

But your on Asura, you should check the prices of the things though. Here are some of the equip you get

-Vassago's Scythe
-Assault Pierce
-Astral Shield
-Fey Wand

I forgot the rest. They may or may not be worth a lot on your server.

Your bard is going to have his hands full without a blm to sleepga II

When you take out the whm, pull him to the very edge of the bc so his benediction does not wake up the others.

Raise II and enhancing mantle are the other rares in the pal fight. You also get some gil, and a few various gems/ingots.

The giddeus fight has some nice drops as well (master belt and spartan cesti), each go for around 1 mil on my server. The fight is a bit harder though, especially when the ninja uses 2hr:mad:

Somewhat off topic from the original intent of this discussion, but now I'm curious. Which BCNM has the highest gil/seal ratio approxiamately?

I'd estimate BCNM40 as 100k per fight = 2.5k/seal. I've heard BCNM50 is worse than BCNM40 in terms of gil. So is BCNM60 better than this or am I wasting my time trying to figure out how to beat it? ^^

on my server, if you do it right, you can get about 330k+ per 40coins

A BLM can't take a BRD's job in BCNM. Why? Because BRD doesnt get interrupted whilst singing.

I never said blm can take brd's place, I only meant that they complement each other very well. Sometimes sleep doesn't last as long as you'd like it to, and having a second person who can sleep the whole group is very useful. They're also nice to have when the thf uses 2hr
