Warrior Sacrificing
I just want all of ya to kno that if a warrior sacrifices in a party, even though they loose 10% like always, they also can take a lot more, so if your in a party, take the pride and take the monster where your PT can zone, your death will be severly appretiated

i think it's really honourable for a player to sacrifice himself to save teh party...

Tanks should use the code of Bushido, where dying isnt a failure, it's the best service one can render to his allies

I'd rather die then my mages, since I know how hard it is for them level and how hard it has been.

Warriors just breeze on up to the Dunes with no sweat while mages get all the heat being weak. It's my turn to sweat.

I died saving our white mage from a monster he fished up in Qufim. I stood there in disbelief because one of the other members had just asked "What is there to fish in this place anyways?" "Nothing." the white mage replied.

Very ironic.

Generaly either hte Warrior or puller should e the first to die in a pt.

the puller if they pulled a mob way too hard for the pt or the Warrior because thats what they are a target.

I get pissed off in ots when the warior runs off, for one the party is left with its damage dealer gone

And if you decide to let the Whm die to save yourselfdo yourealy count on your chances of being raised

What I am the MT in a party I ever run away and I think people who run should be kicked unless the ptis aware they are all running

Warriors die first
Whm dies last/never o.O

You can actually fish Yellow Globes and other small fish with a Sabiki Rig along the Qufim cliffs ... was pulling some up the other day.

Anyway, if the pt is good and no accidents happen the warrior shouldn't even come very close to death. If the warrior dies and the mages still have MP it is as much the party's fault.

And all the other mages like the blm with whm sub (or anybody who can cure) should always play support healer instead of nuke nuke nuke nuke and forget about supporting the whm. It is true if you are a blm or rdm your job is also to squish the mob with your fancy black magic, but support healing is VERY important (NA blms who only nuke end up getting a bad rep with JP who prefer supportive blms). Sometimes the whm can't take ALL the stress if the damage is a little too much during accidents/emergencies.

Although, it -is- true that in the case of a bad pull or freak accident the tank should be the first to die.

<3 PLD 2hr Invincible

Tanking as a warrior is very much more risky with a bad party.

Right now, depending on the healers and the rest of the party, I may give my life to save one person, but if the healers are being idiots then it's all them. I'll look for a raise, but I don't make promises.

"Guys, I just set my oven on fire by trying to cook ramen in it, and broke the fire alarm with a frying pan. I think I'm in trouble." - Brawny (2006)

"But Hisdon, why wouldn't you want The Unblockable Shield - wait a minute..." - Sasukekun (2005)
