i remember back on the import the cap was 20 and we kicked its ass when everyone was level 19, so just wondering if theyve changed it, cause i was gonna take a group of level 20's to kill it but if its gonna slaughter us....

Don't know how strong it was when you fought it, but I went with a 23-25 party and it was a pretty good fight. I think a party of 20's would have a really hard time.

I beat this dragon a few days ago with a PT of

25 PLD
23 MNK
24 DRG

before we entered I use protect 4 on everybody and had some bbq and yagudo drink...the MNK and I used our SP and the fight was fairly easy.

Mission 6 dragon is a push over, could do it with 3 people easily, I have never heard of anyone dying to it yet...

I dunno, back in Beta, people still died doing M6. I was fortunate enough to not become roadkill, but maybe it's easier this time around *shrugs*

The cap is 25. never know of the 20 cap.

by the way I notice some more stronger special moves the dragon is using these days ; / I killed it like 20 times for my LS during the past 2 weeks. And started to see some moves i've never seen before like the group-jumping area attack which killed 1 of our taru blm in 1 shot, and the curse.... lower PLD's HP from 350 to 70....

Some fights they make no special move and become pretty easy. It's the fight that they happen to perform 3-4 moves simultanously that can become deady.... They are still easy more than hard tho.

I died taking on the fool. Its all about proper strategy. My group, 5 people, took on the healer first and 2 of us got put to sleep right when we defeated the healer then it was up to 3 people to take on the Dragon while the rest of us slept. I recommed slaughtering the Dragon first then raping the healer. My Group had a lvl 18 (Me), 19, 23, & 2x25. We all died.

the eye won't bug you until you directly attack him. kill the dragon first.
