Re: This job is too easy.
Are we contributing to the argument or are we repeating what Feba and Mog have already said?

EDIT: Oh, no, don't get me wrong. I'm talking from level 20 until burn parties. NIN/DRK is a fine tank, as is PLD/NIN. Both keep hate very well.

It's not as though PLD needs help with invites. Or soloability. Or endgame (or mid-game) viability. They aren't super fantastic with the shield blocking though so suddenly we should feel give them a new spell that gives just over 50% shield activation normally?

Just because your opinion and my opinion on RDM melee differs isn't a valid reason to bring me into this. NIN vs. PLD which is an argument I'll never get into. Both jobs have thier own merits, but when it come to keeping hate, PLD is king and always will be.

Re: Reprisal
It has been proven that NIN/DRK tanks can reach one of the enmity caps before Paladin. Though NIN/DRK is more risky. Just wanted to throw that out there.

BBQ, that's a conversation I'd rather take to PMs, honestly.

Re: Reprisal
The funny thing about Raitox's original statement is that
1) Tanking has never been rocket science, and
2) 99% of the PLDs I've seen in Midgard manage to fail at it even though it's easy.

Fixed.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I've been a NIN for longer than most ppl have played this game. I'm old school, no exp chain bonus, no exp ring, no fast kill meripo, no haste setup, full evasion gear sata+mb type of NIN but when you see how strong and versatile a well equipped pld/nin can be, you start thinking wow, that shit is pretty ridiculous.

If I could have a pld/nin at my disposal for all the lowman stuff I do, I'd never bother with a large ls ever again.

taru edit: sorry tm, posted while you were posting. feel free to move me.

I disagree. 85% maybe but 99% absolutely not. But yes, the majority do. I know quite a few skilled tanks, some of which are in my ls.

Some people are like Slinkys , totally useless but they still put a smile on your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

TGM, you should know that 72% of all statistics are made up on the spot!

Also, hyperbole helps emphasize.
