But guess what? Shit happens. The game isn't on Auto-Run all day. Being a good PLD is hard, as is being a good NIN. My job entails a whole shit more than hitting macros and watching myself keep perfect hate while all manner of shit goes on in the party.

Perhaps but your original post stood alone. I apologize for antagonizing you.

I doubt that the reflected damage will add enmity. Not only would that be just too awesome, but I expect it behaves in the same way as spikes damage.

Even a well geared and well played ninja will find it difficult to keep hate against equally well geared and well played DDs unless they are holding back, which, if there is no Thief in the party, they will be forced to hold back if they don't want to get hit.

That is probably debatable depending on puppet used and skill levels. I've seen my friend's puppet toss out some wicked damage.
