Question about PLD food

i want to ask you about pld food my level 52 now

and i was wondering which food should i use

i was in party today someone said PLD most eat food or he'll not tank well

but i did great job there

If you're not using any food, you really should get in the habit of eating some. They can help a lot. Just because you're not dead doesn't mean that you're doing well.

I'd go with fishkabobs at least. Tavnazian Tacos are great, but can be pricy.

Print it out and keep it safe, it's one of the best non in-game assets a Paladin can have.

The only time when exp'ing when there's really no need to eat food is when you start partying against Colibri in ToAU areas, something which you can look forward to in just a few levels time. The reason for this is that the Colibri will steal your food from you - extremely annoying!! When exp'ing on anything it is best practice to eat some kind of defence food. It makes a big difference - you'll notice it.

The whole 'damage dealer' Paladin setup is all weird and oogy-feeling to me. I guess I'm your standard Tank Paladin through and through.

So, while I can't recommend anything that emphasizes ATK, Tavnazian Tacos get you to where you're going, classic Tank-wise.

They're also very nice for short parties. Popping a Black Curry or something, then dying or disbanding a short while later is plain frustrating.

What is a pld's base def at 52?

If the party is a traditional setup (SC + MB) and fighting high IT mob, Tavnazian Taco is great food.

If the party is melee heavy (TP-burn style), and fighting VT ~ low IT mob, I suggest you to try attack food (like Courel Subs), and use Defender conditional.

Tavnazian Taco is way overkill for Lv.52. ^_^;

Shallops Tropicale or Fish Mithkabob is just fine for defense food; Lv.59 and I still haven't hit defense cap for Shalllops Tropicale. Also, I would argue Dorado Sushi over Coeurl Sub for enmity and accuracy if defense food isn't needed.
