P.S im talking about pre bonus, i have like +12 VIT | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 08-23-2004, 08:30 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2002 Posts: 300 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 417 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 417 Donate | Yeah as an elvaan, I usually have 3-5 more str then vit. I've partied drks of other races and actually had a higher base STR then them
Although theres an elvaan drk in my LS at my lvl. He has like 6-10 mroe str and 6-10 less vit then me at any given lvl. So I guess the best response is, our str/vit difference is the closest of the melee classes. Phenix Server: Seydlitz

On a chart from 1-5 (5 being the best), our STR growth rate is a 4, and our VIT is a 5 (this is compared to other jobs). STR 72
VIT 70
Yeah this makes no sense at all. I have more STR than a 75 SAM/WAR, yet my damage is complete ass.

Both Warrior and PLD have high str mods, which is why you're having more str then VIT.
Not sure why someone mentioned why their damage was so crappy because of their high Str =Þ Str is only part of the thing for the damage you do, attack is the other part. While you might have 300 attack at level 70, a real level 70 "fighter" class probably has over 1k. That's the big differance. Pld dmg isnt so weak, its just a pld focuses on tanking gear where as those damage dealers focus on umm gear that lets them deal damage? If a pld where to switch into full attacker gear, you would see a big improvement on the dmg output. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 08-31-2004, 09:33 AM | #9 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Posts: 212 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0x in 0 Posts Gil: 472 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 472 Donate | MNKs have more VIT than STR...guess it tells you something about visible stats vs. practical ones...
