Lucas was responsible for himself and his work. I think some people gave him too much credit. Yes, he was a brilliant director, in that he was able to find extra-ordinary talents to work for him, but he was a terrible writer. I'll acknowledge and give him credit for the first 3 SW movies. I was just really sorely disappointed with the next 3 and am hoping they get someone else to work on the planned seventh.
