I don't see anything wrong with that at all.
I've had to use the rape kit on many women to collect samples as forensic evidence some fess up when I explain what is going to happen.
There's many men out there in prison or walking the street with the rapist stigma attatched to them just because a girl had too many to drink and spread her legs like it was PB&J. Rape is not a result of bad judgement rape is a vile act just as vile as a false accusation.
Eurgh..... Why do america have to insert razamatazz and sensationalise everything, Not everything is important, Deliver the news properly and move on.

The only thing wrong with what he had said was there was a word missing from it, "cry" They cry rape so easily.

Satori works as a nurse IIRC so would have to "collect" forensic samples from people saying they were raped; so I'm fairly sure it was a poor choice of words rather than "Satori agrees with the guy in the video".

I think we can all agree that sexism is bad, rape is horrible, turning a blind eye to rape is horrible, and falsely crying rape is horrible.

You may not have liked what I said but you'd be more disgusted at the ammount of women that use the term rape so loosely.
I've dealt with genuine cases of rape. It is an awful thing to happen but the ammount of false claims I've dealt with far outweigh it. When you get to find out they said it because they didnt want to appear easy, they had a partner they cheated on, Fast access to emergency contraception.
Not every person that claims rape has actually had it happen.
It's not only women it happens to men too.

Maybe no one thinks someone deserves to be raped, but a lot of people are willing to call bullshit on legitimate rape claims and vouch for the rapist's supposed innocence. That's just as bad as thinking someone deserved it. And maybe you've seen a lot more false rapes than real rapes, but that doesn't mean that's the reality of it. A lot of rape victims are afraid to come forward because, again, doing so can horribly backfire on them.

Either way, even if you're right, who cares? That doesn't give anyone a license to say sexist shit. Maybe it's true that certain minorities are more likely to commit crimes, that doesn't mean I get to paint all individuals that way. Same goes for rape.

I'm not one to take sides really I just think what the guy said was just carelessly worded and everybody has jumped on it.
From that video what I got from it was he was basically told to be careful who you sleep with because there's people out there that will drag you through the mud with no thought of the consequences.

I've had to treat a "rapist" and the "victim" at the same time, I had to treat them both the same even though my heart went out to the girl and I thought that the guys injuries weren't severe enough. That turned out to be a false claim too.

Many rapes go unreported here in the uk, Our legal system is vile to the victim, Once a girl mentions she had a little to drink the jury start to think her story isn't quite what it seems, They even try to say what she was wearing may have led the attacker on. That in itself is disgraceful so it's no wonder so many people don't report it.
I present evidence in court quite regularly regarding injuries people are admitted with,

I did say many women invoke the word as a defence for their own bad judgement and that nowadays they cry rape too easily.
I say that it has increased because its more frequent in this age, I know this because I'm one of the people they confide in and tell, I'm the person that guides them throughwhat has happened to them.
So how you can call me out and try to suggest that I agree with what the video is suggesting is crazy.

For what it's worth, I interpreted his words to mean "they cry 'rape' so easy," because the alternative is just plain unthinkable. (Right? Right?!?)

In NC we've had problematic wording around laws regarding rape for years, leading to very skewed interpretations - such as the woman having to actually put up a struggle or it cannot be defined as rape and the law also turns a blind eye to the rights of any male that gets raped due to other problematic wording. Prior to 2010 this was a problematic law and democrats had the majority for decades. While I agree this wording was bad and I'm glad people want the issue addressed - why is it just now there's a grassroots effort to change it in my state? The timing is not only awfully convenient, its also disgusting that its being used as a political toy.

I am sick and tired of all these social issues getting kicked back and fourth every four years like a soccer ball in scrimmage. When people are elected and the real game begins both sides do fuck-all about it. Immigration, rape, abortion, same sex marriage, non-discrimination laws, equal pay for women - you name it. Then you have the tools that gobble up the witch-hunts these asshats concoct every election year.

I'm just going to go out on a limb here, since I don't like either option I have for this election, but I kind of doubt Paul Ryan has the time in his day to track every obscure idiot remark someone in his party makes. The whole point of that video is to associate Paul Ryan with it. This is how the political game is played, but I'm pretty sure I can conjure up some nasty people the president and vice president have associated with in order to demonize them as well.

I mean, I do just find it a touch problematic - given things Jay-Z has said in his work over the years - that he's a mouthpiece for Obama's campaign now. Earlier this year he just up and decided that he might stop using the world "bitch" because he and Beyonce had a little girl around that time. So not before he met the woman he would marry, not during the dating, not after he proposed or got married - just when she had a baby girl (and probably because he was already lined up to be an Obama mouthpiece this year). So here's this violent, derogatory word his applied to women for years in his music - which he still sells - and turns out to be some of the last words heard when a woman is raped or killed. He can't exactly separate himself from his work or the various cultures that embraced it now.

But hey, he wants Obama re-elected to give hope to children, so he's a stand-up guy and we should not hold him accountable for anything. I have to wonder if he'd like to publicly retract his use of other slurs now that he's pro-gay marriage because Obama put his finger to the wind and decided to be. He doesn't seem to have come forward and owned up to the words that helped make his career.

Apparently there is room to spare on Bullshit Mountain and the Tea Party and conservatives are not its only occupants.
