Actually, I'm just taking issue with the shitty things that you are continuing to say. I get it. You have some anecdotal experience. I suggest you stop talking in broader terms based on said experience.

If you want to know how backwards the UK is when it comes to rape and the legal system:

Until 1991 marital rape was perfectly legal and to this day there are only precedents set in common law and no formal act of law actually making it illegal.

There are also plenty of cases in the UK where men (and some women) have had their lives completely destroyed by people crying rape just as there are plenty of cases of men and women who have had their lived destroyed by being victims or rape.

I personally think that Satori could have been a bit more tactful in his post but he does raise a perfectly valid point. As someone who talks to victims of crime (or some alleged victims of crime) on a daily basis I can see exactly the point that Satori is making: people in the UK are all too willing to act like the victim and blame other people to escape from bad choices. The difficult part is explaining the implications. Sometimes people will fess up and admit they were lying or exaggerating about what happened to them. Sometimes genuine victims will start to question themselves. Some people are utter sociopaths and have no problem with destroying other people to avoid responsibility.

Thankfully I personally haven't had to personally deal with a rape case, though I do deal those who suffer from domestic abuse male and female (with the female ones all happening to be from Sparkhill or Solihull but this is something else entirely) on a depressingly frequent basis. I have spoken to a couple of men and women who after talking to them it does seem that their claims aren't all what they seem.

The US may have a suing culture but the UK is corrupt and morally bankrupt enough to have a culture of not only completely and utterly destroying the lives and reputations of people who have wronged you and/or people you want to pin your horrible mistakes on to but also those your family and anyone close to you.

But anyway, I'm going to quote Armando because I agree with him completely:

Murphie is entitled to his opinion it may not be the same but it does bring another angle to the discussion.

Why are people reacting to the title of the video rather than what he said though? The title and content are completely different. I listened to it again and he doesnt say anything like how it was titled. I still stand by the wording being incorrect and missing the word cry out. With that being the case the title is still incorrect and the video is an attempt to villainise the guy.
I don't think he was talking about rape and it's victims. To me it was a story of being told to stay away from certain types of girl that would do whatever it takes as an act of self preservation. I for one know a few girls that I wouldn't put that kind of behaviour past them, It is an act I find disgraceful and damaging to those who actually do experience rape.

This man is a public figure and is aware that his words are open to speculation and at times being interpreted incorrectly. Aside from being careless to talk about a subject in such a manner, I find him unprofessional to do so in a public setting.

I had said his wording is wrong and mentioned crying rape, "crying rape is when you accuse somebody of it and it is false"
The descriptions I gave may be offensive to your eyes, If the man had been speaking about genuine victims I'd be totally on your side.
I am completely on the vitims side in every case "until I find out it is false"
I don't see why you'd act so bitter towards me here for pointing out something damaging to genuine victims.
People that lie about being raped are just as evil as a person that forces themselves on another in such a way.

This is never going to be an easy subject to discuss but at least do it without attacking each other,

Rather than just find fault with what I said you could add to it and tell me what I have said is wrong and why you think so.
Things are often taken wrongly in text but I'd explain if you had asked anything.
I do think Murphie is reacting more to the videos title than the content. Which I imagine was the youtube person's intent.
