You're serious? Sorry, this means you interact like a moron. Here's how you do it: ![]() (I didn't want to put in the page that comes before this, so if you're lost: there are 5 gangbangers he's about to beat the shit out of. Hence, he's telling the emergency services to bring 5 ambulances.)

hah, I don't need socks. Thing is, if I used socks, I wouldn't have said you're "like a moron", I would've just said you're a fuckwit. I don't pussyfoot around insulting people, as any of the mods can tell you.

I think I read somewhere that the father did run around frantically looking for his daughter. 5 minute late, 20 minutes late, I can kinda understand, but to be missing for over 2.5 hours? |

| Re: The news Hair-pulling soccer player both sorry and defiant - Soccer News - FOX Sports on MSN I wish soccer would be more like this. Most of it looked like a mix of inadvertent and purposeful, but that hair pull looked crazy unconscious. She did the whole thing without averting her gaze from wherever she was looking. |

She's a bully. She didn't just pull hair either. I believe she kicked a player in the face as she lay on the ground and elbowed someone between the shoulder blades. She's been banned I hear and I agree with that decision.

I agree with Dak. With the evolution of our society and science, we have effectively removed selection. Its too bad realy because it seems to be growing exponentially in the wrong direction. Anyway, I thought they weren't allowed to release names of minors?

they can release the names if they have been charged as adults. when they get charged as adults they are treated like adults (adult prison, names and pictures in papers and so on). trust me when i say this.. when convicted and sent off to prison.. each one will get a first hand experience from the girls point of view. karmas a bitch.

While I agree we have a problem as a species with individuals who are mentally ill. I think the number of ways we are notified of these events have increased a lot over the years. I have no doubt that children were snatched off of sidewalks, or taken from stores, or even taken from their homes back in the early 1900's. However, back then you would only hear of such things if it happened locally so that it was reported in your newspaper or the victim was related to someone famous ie the Lindbergh baby. Now with local news, world news, and 24hr cable news everything is accessible by nearly everyone. You could use the first post in this Thread as an example. Even if you don't own a t.v., or a computer or subscribe to a newspaper you are bound to hear of some these just from talking to other people. What I am trying to say is people tend to believe that the number of sick people is increasing by leaps and bounds, but most base their assessment off of what they watch and/or read. I have no trouble believing the total number of incidents in America (just keeping it local for this statement) have increased in just the past century, so has our population. The question is what percentage of that population is committing these horrible acts, and historically what is that percentage? We do have a serious problem that needs to be dealt with on many levels and in different ways, but be careful with the panic buttons.

With the birth of the internet and it becoming a necessity almost, we hear more about the actions of our fellow man now. Let's also remember that as a species we tend to dwell on the negative and enjoy sensationalizing it. Things have changed because every generation changes but there is also a lot of good that goes along with the bad.
