Problem running Windower (not FFXI's)

Ok I am having some issues running windower and was wondering if there was a fix for this yet. Before I go into detail about my issues I am running Vista 32bit, Nvidia Geforce 9500 Video Card. I have no IR devices to disable. Now when I run Windower in admin it go's through POL just fine, so I focus out of POL when I click PLAY (I was told to do this to help solve the crashing issue). But it works just fine until I focus back in.

Knowing that, is there anyone out there who can help me troubleshoot my Windower and POL and find out what is going wrong so I can fix it? I have not been able to play for like a month now b/c of this

and I really want to get back into the game.

Please help if you can anyone!!!
