I had this website sent to me and I was not really into it untill I read up on it and watched the video on this site but it looks like a great product.

Already, it would allow smokers to light up in offices, restrautants & other places smoking is currently banned.
No second hand smoke.
No bad smell.
No open flame/ash.

Those people look even douchier then people who smoke real cigarettes. These are nothing more then super expensive nicotine patches that let you pretend you're actually smoking.

Well it looks like a fun product as long as there's a nicotine-less version of it... But yeah, I'd rather buy 3-7 games with that money instead.

Can you really? Its up to the individual restuarant whether you can or not. I had a chain smoking friend who we talked into trying cigarette of this type several years back. He whipped out the fake cigarette and started puffing away and was told to put it away or leave. Being a chain smoker, he raised quite the stink about it (it was rather embarassing) and the manager called the police. We were gathering our things and paying the bill when they arrived and just out of curiosity one of our members asked their take on it. They said that the restuarant has the upper hand and can decide who it serves and who it does not. They would have had to support their decision. The restuarants stance was that if other customers complained they could not just look the other way. So don't plunk down your money just yet, go to your favorite spots and ask their take on it first.

that is true. every resturant can refuse service when they want to but if you explain the matter to them about it not being a cig and they still kick you out, they are kicking you our b/c they want to. not b/c of any law.

As an actor... I want to use that on stage. I don't smoke cigs but I don't wanna Those would be great prop-cigs.

Kinda funny but I'd never hear of these and my co-worker just showed his off about 30 min ago... and then I see this.

I never said they were kicking you out because of a law. It's their choice who they server and who they don't. If you are disrupting other customers, they will ask you to stop or leave. If you refuse, then they can call the police which is what happened to us. (He refused to stop and was trying to explain the cigarette to them but he couldn't wrap his nicotine soaked pea brain around the fact that NO IS NO.) Could a law be passed to also ban this type of cigarette, I wouldn't doubt it and maybe there is somewhere out there. It's a hot topic right now and there is a lot of negativity towards any type of smoking.

Just be aware that using these "fake" cigarettes can still lead to a nicotine addiction. Some have a no nicotine version which would be the best option. Nicotine is a very addictive substance and not something you want to take a chance with.

They're not "nicotine-less", they're just flavored Nicotine. These produce the same chemical addictions as smoking without the actual smoke. It's just the stuff you're breathing out will taste like different flavors, but you'd still be inhaling nicotine.

Put yourself in their shoes. They see you smoking, ask you to stop and you explain to them that it's not real. They understand and let it slide. However other people will notice you "smoking", in places you're not allowed to smoke, and they'll either complain to the restaurant or even come to you directly. And often times, the average person isn't all too understanding. Now I know the restaurant wouldn't want to go around explaining in detail to everyone who complains that it's not real, would you want to do the same thing too?

The fact that it looks and acts so much like a cigarette would actually be detrimental to your ability to use it in public places.

They'd only be props if you didn't have the nicotine cartridge attached, but then it wouldn't look right.

I'll admit it's healthier then actually smoking, but it's still not something you should be using.

Just like Ziero said, they have nicotine cartridges and if you used them, you'd be getting a dose of nicotine. This could lead to a dependency and addiction to nicotine and thats not a road you want to go down.

Didn't catch that "cartridge" part... so yeah... guess it's totally useless on-stage.

Still the Volcano is a "load what you wish" type of product. So you could vaporize basil if you wished.
