I wouldn't want that colored in. It's perfect just like it is and doesn't clash with anything in the room instead it compliments it.

The simplicity of the line art is what makes it work. Nothing specifically pops out at you, rather everything is blended together and flows along making it all one seamless image. While I'm sure a lot can be done with colored sharpies, sometimes "black and white" is the best way to leave it.

Dang, nobody got my joke lol. I completely agree, I like the line art just the way it is especially the people. I just showed this to one of my coworkers and then I said hopefully he wont want to rearrange the furniture anytime soon but if he does I'm sure he has something planned for it.

I rather like these drawings, as and Interior Design student I'm all about new ways to design spaces. I could critique the space itself but you'd probably all be like, "/slap" so I'll keep it quiet. Suffice to say I really dig this space.

I always wanted to have a wall in my house for my kids to color/doodle on throughout the years, even for their friends to mark up if they so choose. 4 years after my first has been born, still no house and still no wall, but eventually, I'll have this.

I always used to draw on the walls when I was a kid, all the way up through until I started high school even. They were never anything special and usually little doodles but it was always just wierd fun to mark up the area around my bed. The best thing I ever drew on my wall was a small Tazmanian Devil, which other then him looking like he'd been on a diet, came out pretty decent.

Anyway, another thing that I like about the line art in that room is that it gives the impression that the room is bigger then it actually is. A nice optical illusion to make things seem less cramped.

Ya he drew on the fireplace, the bench, the clock, and the bookcase too. I love how incorporated those pieces into the design giving it a more 3D feel.
