Technically speaking, they do, just not as playable characters. Either way, any player using the 'manthra' excuse is incredibly lame. This includes role players, because you are not dressed in drag just so you can go out and kill things. You are unoriginal and should read a damn book.

I play a Mithra, and I am a guy, and no... I am not gay, I like the ladies ^.^ but I refuse to call myself a "Manthra" even if male Mithra where playable, they would still be called Mithra. Male Mithra NPCs will most likely show up more in what ever expansion has the Mithra homeland in it, but untill then there is only one male Mithra NPC and hes in WotG... not sure where though.
But they will never.....ever....EVER be a playable gender of Mithra, and calling yourself a Manthra, is just stupid.

I have no clue how this person got all this footage given that these scenes are likely to be in the next version update (that is, everything after the first 5-10 seconds past the male mithra's initial showing) but here it is and it's all legit.

My son is a Mithra. When he first started to play he had the jobs he wanted to level picked out and felt Mithra's stat structure fit them the best. He would have rather been an Elvaan but decided to go with Mithra. Now he regrets doing it and wishes he could change his race. /sigh He also hates the term "manthra" and I get a lot of flac from him if I use it. I usually only use it when we have a new person around that is playing Mithra and is a guy, just so everyone knows that she's a "him". lol
