I wonder what marketing people would make of that. How do you encourage people to leave a well established social network for a new social network that lacks a sizable user-base?

I've debated on using FB but the many rumors I've heard about people stealing information on you and giving it to the Feds has got me paranoid enough not even to use it. MySpace I didn't even touch either. Just something about social networking that says "No." I oddly enough feel a bit better with IM programs like Skype/MSN I stay away from YIM/AIM.

Pet Peeve: People overly ambitious about Resident Evil 6, calling it a "True" RE game. Only RE I enjoyed was Code Veronica, since it was actually "scary". They're trying to add the "horror" theme again which they lost back in RE5 by a landslide and even though Racoon City wasn't made by Capcom the game still left a bad taste in my mouth. Come to think of it, where's J9 been? Usually she covers all these things, more or less. Forum has been ghostly without her around, I miss the "mew" verbal tick

I'm more excited for the 1.8.2 Minecraft Update for the 360 and the Mecromancer coming out on the 16th of this month for Borderlands 2.

On top of that, wasn't there a movie? "Social Network" if I recall was about Facebook in general that gave it more publicity than it needed and probably more people to use the thing than ever before. The thing I also don't like is how FB is practically on EVERYTHING now. Sign into Skype - Do you want to connect to your facebook? No. I got miffed for awhile at Minecraft since there is an option (just like in Dragon's Dogma) where you can link your Xbox Live and FB to share screenshots of what your doing in-game. I mean granted it seems like a publicity/advertising scheme that the game company uses to put their product out there by using the players to show off what they've done, but they still could be nice about it.
