I had a job interview today, but I'm not holding my breath. People just don't want to hire women who stop working to raise their kids, it's bullshit but truth.

Now after I had my last child, people didn't want to hire me because of him being a baby. They said I would up and run as soon as I'd get a call that he's sick or if the babysitter couldn't watch the kids I'd have to take the day off. People say thats discrimination and they are right but try and prove it. All they do is say "we didn't hire her because someone more qualified came along" or some drivel. Do you think they are going to just stand up and say the real reason so they can get sued? LOL Oh look we have a law against that!....ya big friggin whoop. I feel for you Aks, its not easy.

Well, I've decided to just drop out, take a month off, then go job hunting, starting the end of this semester which would be about... 4, 5 more weeks. Honestly, I can't stand being in classes anymore, I don't really feel like there is much to be learned in 8 week courses that last for 3 1/2 hours per class...

Well, it's not necessarily about what you learn, it's about getting the credit. But also, you might be surprised what you can learn in that amount of time.

Anyways, it really doesn't feel like I'm learning anything. More like, I end up vegetating during those 3 1/2 hour classes more than anything I've ever done outside of them. Plus, even if I wanted to continue, my GPA is still too low to a) continue b) transfer out, also I don't want to sign another year of a SAFA just to get out within the first 3 months of it being used.

Anyway, srs note, if you aren't learning anything in those classes, A- why are you taking them, and B- how is there any problem with your GPA? Even if you were acing the classes and were bored as fuck (I've been there, I know how it is, although you probably don't because you're an idiot), you could still find other things to do (study something you are having problems with, learn you a book, study a language, whatever) during class and get credit for the class.

I feel pretty confident in saying that you could probably stand to pay attention more. I mean, we've already had this conversation, so I'm not going to bother repeating myself, but honestly, the simple answer is STOP BEING A BAD STUDENT.

Because they make me take them. Then we get either a great prof which means I'm less likely to veg out and passively ace all the work ahead of time or we get this part time half wit that really doesn't know the material to teach us.

how is there any problem with your GPA

Last Semester I gotten a 1.75 transfer to alternative schools I'd need a 2.5, to keep enrolled I need a 2.0+ at the end of this semester.
And I highly doubt I'd be able to make it after getting a D in a class of my Major, and I know I'm gonna totally bomb Sociology. Composition I'm doing pretty well in considering being "an idiot" >_>

The point (which you keep missing, because you're an idiot) was that if you really could be so passive and bored on these classes, obviously you should know the material and not have any problems keeping your grades high. Which easily isn't the case.
