I agree, Drew Carey and that one black guy ruined the show IMHO. Also, Mythbusters is cool, period. Where else can you find out that you get more wet running the same distance in rain than walking? Also, getting shot doens't knock you back or anything. What else....

Personal fav myths from there; Fastest way to cool beer, Cerment truck and dynamite, skunk smell removal, pirate myths 1 and 2, walk on water ninja, stopping a sword with your hands, cola myths, mentos in cola, make a hovercraft, needle in a haystack, and that one to test movie vs actual ability to break in.

Oh and that robot chicken parody of them was good XD

They're special effects designers, blowing shit up or making things look like other things is what they're qualified for. If I'm going to watch a science related show, it better have some people qualified to talk about what they're talking about.

Their 'myth busting' is "well we couldn't put anything together to get it to work so it must not."

Since that was known and done many many times long before the show was on the air the only purpose of putting it on was for show.

HINT: You learned (or were supposed to learn) about that particular useless tidbit of physics in high school.

Yeah, don't take their "busting" too seriously. I mean, enjoy it for it's entertainment value, and sometimes they do get pretty close to the mark, but they certainly shouldn't be a definitive source of anything (save, again, entertainment) when it comes to real information like that.
