a man killed his own baby over EQ....... what type of SH** is that.... then antoher guy killed himself becuae he got "flamed" *on the news they say spurned* ...... i just dont know what to say.....

the segment lastetd around 10-15min... its over now

those that live in pacific and west time zones tune into fox channel for the 10:0clock news.... the names they said on the news was the ever so popluar evercarck, heroinware *new to me* and neverquest *the obvious*.

*sits back and waits for an evercrak baby to flame this non dsiputable proof*

Well...what was their intent? Just to bash EQ, or maybe inform people about a dangerous new genre of video games? MY belief is that the blame should not lie on the game itslef, but the people who play them and committed those horrible acts.

Geez, all that us gamers really needed. An idiot killing himself and the news tying it to being because of a game. Great now that may starting causing problem for that type of genre, especially if the news ties more and more killings to that type of genre. Wish those idiots that are so easily influenced like that would go find a big white room full of padding all around with a nice coat with really long arm pieces that can be tied behind them.

Basically, how horible the game is, and how someone would kill themself just because a couple of polygons told them something (not to sure what)

Actually, he probably did kill himself over Everquest. MMORPGs become some peoples' entire lives sometimes. Everquest seems to have the worst addicts, though. The game really isn't that bad. That's why people get hooked on it and some just obsess over it. This wouldn't be the first time someone has killed himself over Everquest, but probably the first time someone killed someone else over it. The first person to kill himself, though, already had some serious issues. He should've been in an asylum or something.
