FFXI Dial-up Experiences

How many of my fellow players are on dial-up like me? If so please post your connection speed given from the system tray status indicator and what your experience has been so far in game.

My experience has been pretty good.

how wel does it run on dial up, laggy, ok or not laggy at all. My friend is worried that if he gets it his connection will suck to much to be enjoyable

I have a 26.4kbps connection and the game runs great!!!!

Don't ever let someone say it can't be played smoothly on dial-up. They're full of shit. I was shocked at how well the game runs on dial-up. Tell your friend it runs enjoyably smooth. I can't say how it runs for everyone else on dial-up.
