I've given it a rest until I can afford some dougu. Level 50 is so damn expensive, because levelling takes alot longer.

By the way, at level 49 we learn �n (chi), it means Earth, and is our strongest WS to date BUT because its earth based its pretty useless against insect type.

It does still hit harder than �� and can renkei with viper bite

Hey guys. A lot of importers post here so I thought I'd ask, if you import this game do you HAVE to know basic japanese? Like I mean I no absolutely no japanese and am not really familiar with their culture. So I am wondering if it will be hard as hell for me to survive as an importer being as ignorant as I am. I mean I'm not ignorant in general just when it comes to speaking and playing with japanese people. So do you think I would be able to survive it? Also I am wondering if your japanese import account will translate over to the english version when it comes out so I don't have to keepo playing the game in japanese?

Sorry for the off topic and long post. I desprerately need an mmorpg to play because I hate star wars and all other mmorpg's that are in english. I broke my leg like 5 weeks ago and I just got it rebroken cuz it wasn't healing . Well I got the news that I am in a full leg cast with absolutlely no weight bearing for the next 6 weeks at least. I thought I'd mentionj it to get some sympathy so an importer would respond and not be lazy. Thanks in advance.

well you need to know the basics. like saying thank you, please, thats a great idea, can you please cure me, ect. you can find some of that in the import forum. it is very easy to learn all the in game menus too. there are all these guides on this site to help you. i have no clue if you can switch your characters or not. A lot of the japanese people are nice, if you are getting wooped in a battle a japanese player will offer his help to you, or a white mage will keep curing you until you win, so you really need to learn how to say thank you and such, like i said before.

Ninja's with Elvaan be real strong but what's a main role of a ninja?

ninja's role in a PT would realy just to deal damage. But so far i have been hearing a lot about ninjas being a very good tank becasue of Blink ninjutsu. Ninjas just taunts the monster while they keep casting blink on it so it will miss him every hit, or something like that.

Might want to let the real ninja players do all the talking ^^

nin/war is the ideal combo for a ninja. it's the best tank in game, at the moment and if the ninja knows what to do. some things that you need to have to be good, however, is a crap-load of gil for the blink ninjutsu powder, and updated equipment (NM stuff will make you unbelievably uber). a nin/war basically casts his blink, taunts the monster, doesn't get hit, lets blink run out, recast, taunt, etc. continue. get the basic plus? lol.

HOWEVER! i am nin/thf, therefore i suck.

I was just looking at the 1-h Katana WS page and they don't seem to be very good. Along with the 2h katana they don't have a multiple hit WS. Is this true? If it is true, does the damage done by the WS 1hit make it acceptable. I mean it kind of looks as if the ninja doesn't have anything to damage an enemy with. Sure the ninjitsu does good damage but if I'm going to pay that much money to do any then it's not worth it. Is it more worthwhile to just forget attacking with a ninja and stick to tanking? I hope not.... it just doesn't seem right for a ninja to tank...

Maybe the 3rd level ninjitsu does some real damage?
