And I'm sure you knew already, but for some people reading, just thought I would say that 壱 弐 参 are just the old ways to write 一 二 三

Some queries:
1) For the ninjitsu, does each casting use 1 powder? Or higher lvl -> More powders.

2) Once u r high lvl, the lower lvl ninjatsu are useless cos u probably be using the higher lvl ones?

3) Can powder be 'guild-make'?

4) The sneak/invisible? Are they detectable by magic-detect monsters such as bombs or droma?

5) Does ninja seem more costly than ranger. And what is the average cost per lvlling PT trip? 5k gils?

I have pt with lv60 ninja, pretty strong, i think they got pretty good equips. Attack pretty high due to good dex and speed of attk, can pull creature and can absord attk using 'blink'

the bad thing is the cost of lvlling ninja

1. one casting uses one powder, and it stays true for all the high lvl ones as well.

2. yeah, basically the lower ones just become garbage to scroll over, but keep in mind, lower lvl ninjutsu casts faster than the higher lvl ones.

3. from what i hear, the powder can be made through alchemy guild.

4. not sure of this one... i tend to stay away from those anyways

5. ninjutsu isn't neccesary to get into a pt, so it CAN be less than rng. but i usually buy 99 ice powder(not sure on price) , 99 blink powder(26k last time i bought it) as neccesities. any thing else is your own personal flavor. (substitute ice for whatever you like as well.. hehe)

ninjas are deccently strong. i'd recommend to follow the usual melee rule and sub war. however, after reaching 40, i realized that unless there are massive changes to playing as a ninja, im going to stop at 60 (for the AF).

i'll put it this way: economy sucks. gil is fairly hard to come by to be declared as 'middle class'. if you're a thf, you're rich.

Well the only thing i was worried about was the powder but i think i'll be okay since ice and wind are pretty cheap right? So it can get rather costly. Wouldn't subbing thief be better then sbbing warrior so you can make more gil? I plan on going this route. Thief then at 18 do subjob quest and sub warrior then at 30 do ninja quest and sub thief or warrior depending on the situation.

care to explain the latter part about stopping at 60 unless serious changes are made? Also how many hours a week do you tend to log on this game?

well, at level 60, i will assume i'll have full ninja AF. therefore, i'll look handsome enough to stop if i wanted to. BUT! the fact that this recent patch made ninjutsu II casting times dramatically faster made me want to take ninja higher. so i won't stop at 60. only reason i was gonna stop was because ninja was just getting too boring, but now it's not.

i tend to play for at least 10 hours a day. it's summer, so sue me. ^_~

for the elemental ninjitsu, is it to say that ninjatsu is different from Black Magic due to the lower resist effects?

Neglect damage, elemental ninjitsu similar to ancient magic?

What effects the strength of an attack magic bag? Are they set, or do they rely on Int?

You need INT for a stronger ninjutsu cast, but if your skill isn't high enough you can get resisted.

Two words: Ninja ROCKS.

However ninja has no abilities, and ninjutsu can get very costy if you want to be good at your job (using blink non stop, very very expensive), so if you dont have a good income then I don't recommend you take Ninja past level 40.

Im so glad they shortened the cast time of Level 2 Ninjutsu, it really makes up for the lack of our abilities, and I cant wait to use level3 ninjutsu..... I'm pretty much unstoppable with my blink and mithra's high evade.

Edit: BTW, level 1 ninjutsu is weak, with fire ice etc you'll only do 14 damage at the most with a capped skill at level 35, but once you learn the level 2 series you can do 80 damage regularily and 100+ with magic burst. I wonder how strong level 3 is.... ><
