where can a NIN skill up their katana? (level 58. katana skill 140)

yea it's a little behind. I tried crawlers nest. and it skilled up from 139 to 140, but 3 soldier crawlers aggroed together, so I had to 2 hour out of there. and that was the last thing I did yesterday.

I was thinking going back there but the soldier crawlers were like EP. and some say the bottom floor of Garliage Citadel is better.
but isn't Quicksand caves after Crawler's nest in xp party terms?

I also wonder from 140 skill to what level should I skill up whereever I go.

like at 180, should I move camp elsewhere?

I'm not sure but I remember I skilled up dagger at boyada tree on crabs. but not sure what skill level I started there.

I been trying to get utsusemi Ni but those BCNM haven't dropped scroll and I tried 4 times. so skilling up has been tougher.

The easiest will be beetles in Quicksand Caves, Crawler's Nest, or Garliage Citadel:

Helm Beetle - Quicksand Caves - Lv51-58
Blazer Beetle - Crawler's Nest - Lv52-54
Chamber Beetle - Garliage Citadel - Lv56-58
Helm Beetle - Crawler's Nest - Lv59-62

Quicksand Caves is the safest since there are nearby zones:
Lower Level Camp Site
Upper Level Camp Site

Also, Robber Crabs 60-63 in Kuftal Tunnel, and 64-67 in Cape Teriggan.

After that it's Steelshells in B. Tree.

Kuftal will work well and you may well get an exp invite there.

Ni will help you out unbelievably so you may be best served farming the Gil for it.

I'm going to be different and suggest a LOWER range mob:

Desert Beetle (47-51) in Western Altepa. Your skill is capped for level 40, so these should give you a good hit rate and still give lots of skillups. By the way, how is your evasion?

NIN/DNC can easily handle EM and high DC, horribly behind Katana/Evasion skills or not. Just use a squid sushi or something.
