I only had one of them before since the set bonus was broke, but I'll grab the other since I'm leveling PLD this winter break and I can pretty much fulltime those pieces till AF.

It sucks enough just FARMING for the chests, but then it gets worse when you get one, and your down to 2 choices and you choose the wrong number >_<.

I got the gauntlets tonight. The set gives +5 attack & ranged attack.

That took way too long. I went 1/16 on sabatons, 1/28 on gauntlets.

Rather than make a new thread for a similar topic, I'll just bump this one instead.

I obtained the gauntlets shortly after the update and recently lucked out and got Sabatons after an hour after I started playing again.

One thing I noticed using them for soloing BST was that the Ice Spike effect seems to proc quite often, so these would be decent for PLD (pre-AF feet, anyway) or WAR tanking. They're not the best DD pieces by any stretch of the imagination, but not shabby considering they have some versatility for their actual level. I like them for BST solo and plugging enmity into my Jug pets for Campaign, though.

Hoping SE completes the set in the next update. It could end up being really nice.

I've had the set since shortly after the update as well. I actually use them on my 62 Nin and I would take them over Kotes. Main reason? No evasion minus, Stats for WS mods, Ice Spike proc is pretty high even in Exp party, and the +4 Enmity (along with the +6 enmity from my swap-in earrings/ring, total +10 for Voke and don't forget Nin-blind).

Last party I was in, level synced to 57 with Rdm, Thf, Sam, Drg, Rng and Nin(me). The Thf kept getting ticked off cause none of the DDs could pull hate off me so he could SATA. Even when he SATA'd the Sam, I got hate back in one voke. Also managed to pull the bird back before it even reached the Rng after he used Sidewinder. [Note: I know how SATA is suppose to work. When your party is getting eatten cause you Thf takes forever getting himself set up though, you just gotta take matters into your own hands or ya wipe.]

This set is just hotness. If you are a Nin and either 1) rarely have a Thf or 2) hate dealing with Thf, then get these.
