En-spell and Add-on effects of Katana

Last nite, I dinged lvl 46 so I put on 2 Yoto + 1 (which have defense down add-on effect from time to time) and I was sub /rdm for solo ^^.

When I casted en-blizzard on my katanas, I noted that the add-on effect of defense down did not turn up. When the en-spell expired, my katanas gave me the defense down message from time to time, almost quite frequent \(^^)/ .

Is it true that enspell will overwrite the add-on effects of katanas?

Unfortunately yes, En- Spells overwrite additional effects.

It really sucks.
