Anyone, i'm just lookin to have some fun w/ a ninja... i love ninjas... soo yeah.. i think i'd be fun to be a summoner as well... wear neat ninja armour.... summon stuff... go fishing.... what else do ya need?!

Hehe. What Vivid is carefully trying not to say is that a NIN/SMN is one of the most useless characters in the entire game... just about as useful as a Galka SMN/DRG.

You dont need to sub blm to throw around fireballs. Sub warrior and use Ni level ninjutsu instead. It does pretty decent damage. And, you'll get invites cause you'll out class a paladin at his own job using Utsusemi. Since leveling up Ninja past 37 i can honestly say that all the time, effort and gil were well worth it. Ninja blink tank rocks, and the damage is not as poor as you think. Sure you wont out do a monk or dragoon or drk, but you can do enough to keep hate and thats all that really matters. As for the money, sure it'll be a struggle sometimes, but after taking up fishing a few levels ago (And i started at level 0 with a carbon rod) money has not been too much of a problem at all.

So persevere! At the end of the day you'll not only have a totally cool nitch sorta character, but you'll have the satisfaction of having leveled a character that takes not only skill but true dedication to play. Can you imagine? Not needing gil to level? How easy!!!!
