Please give advice about this question
ok i know u gotta be lvl 30 to be ninja.
and am make a nin/war, should i take the war to 30 then take main job nin sub war.

so what i wanna know is if the warrior really should be lvl 30 when it is sub, or is it better to lvl up with another job like thief, whm blm bla bla anything and then at 30 switch to main nin sub war so they both lvl 1 and then example just take war to lvl 10 then rest on nin?

thanks!

First of all i heard the Ninja Quest is almost impossible for a lvl 30 to do...T Least i think im refering to the right quest, theres just so many.... Anyway if you want to sub WAR thats fine but take it to 35 so you dont have to lvl it anymore until the lvl cap goes above 70 and since its incredibly hard for a lvl 30 to do the quest you will be waiting anyway so why not lvl it...

And you are correct! You need at least 1-2 high level (above 50) to help you . Monsters will aggro you and the leeches will kill you.

I did the quest at level 30. Well technically level 29 since I died and lost a level in the attempt. Make sure you can reach Kazam before you attempt it.

Step one: Go to bastok and get the quest and do all the relevant steps before heading to the mines (sounds obvious but its relevant to step 2). Make sure you get the relevant maps.

Step two: Sit outside the entrance to the mines and run searches on high level players. I managed with one 68 Thf/War. The reason you should make sure you get the quest is that nothing will infuriate the guy helping you more than having him take you all the way in, then realizing it was useless. Listen to what he says, and let him do the fighting (again this would seem obvious)

Step three: Optionally buy a map for Kazam in Jeuno. Get to Kazam. Sit in town and beg for a high level mage to help you get to Norg. You NEED sneak. End of story. I did it with a 57 WHM/BLM and another WHM that was tagging along. Do not do what I did and figure that you're leet enough to dodge the mobs in the Leviathan caves. I lost a level for that mistake: the mobs don't need line of sight to aggro you.

Step four: Once in Norg, talk to the NPC the quest gave you, make sure you traded the coral for a sword, then either get the mage to help you back or change jobs to a level 1 and suicide.

Step five: Get back to bastok. Trade in the sword and you can become a ninja.

As a sidenote, the quest goes a lot quicker if you leave your bind point in Bastok. But thats a risk if you die. Whatever you do, do NOT bind in Norg.

And I apologize if I'm a little non-specific in places: I'm constructing this from memory. Feel free to correct me if I missed a step ^^.

Actually, I was able to do the Ninja quest easily with a group of low-mid 40's in beta. It wasn't the easiest quest, but not as hard as you might think.

You can defeat the leeches with a good group at level 40 with no problems. The "tunnel of doom" everyone tells you to sneak through can also be fought through around level 42+ if you are VERY careful about what you pull, since all enemies in there are aggro/link. Sneaking is faster, but can also get someone killed if their spells run out too soon.

Of course, you could always beg a higher level character for help, but I personally prefer to do things on my own when I can.
