In a game with: impossibly large two-handed swords; blunt katars, claws and patas (the latter two looking nothing like the real things); and enormous two-handed axes and scythes (which barely count as real weapons) used with equal efficiency as katanas, sword, daggers, and polearms; does it really surprise you?
