To commemorate the release of the third and final add-on scenario, we are proud to introduce the "Nexus Cape," an in-game bonus item for players who have purchased the entire trilogy. All characters under a single player account registered for all three add-ons will be eligible for this gift. Owners of the FINAL FANTASY XI ULTIMATE COLLECTION, scheduled for release on November 10, can also shout with glee, as the gift will be available to them also. Following the release of the next version update, eligible characters may collect their Nexus Cape from the treasure coffer located within the Tenshodo Headquarters in Lower Jeuno. ![]() The Nexus Cape is an enchanted item that allows characters in a party to teleport to their party leader's location. Please note, however, that the enchantment's effectiveness is limited to certain destinations only. Provided that all requisite conditions are fulfilled, characters may teleport to the areas listed below: Uleguerand Range / Attohwa Chasm / West Ronfaure / East Ronfaure / La Theine Plateau / Valkurm Dunes / Jugner Forest / Batallia Downs / North Gustaberg / South Gustaberg / Konschtat Highlands / Pashhow Marshlands / Rolanberry Fields / Beaucedine Glacier / Xarcabard / Cape Teriggan / Eastern Altepa Desert / West Sarutabaruta / East Sarutabaruta / Tahrongi Canyon / Buburimu Peninsula / Meriphataud Mountains / Sauromugue Champaign / Yuhtunga Jungle / Yhoator Jungle / Western Altepa Desert / Qufim Island / Behemoth's Dominion / Valley of Sorrows / Southern San d'Oria / Northern San d'Oria / Port San d'Oria / Bastok Mines / Bastok Markets / Port Bastok / Windurst Waters / Windurst Walls / Port Windurst / Windurst Woods / Ru'Lude Gardens / Upper Jeuno / Lower Jeuno / Port Jeuno / Rabao / Selbina / Mhaura / Kazham / Norg The enchantment effect will differ slightly depending upon the party leader's current location: field areas or towns. For field areas, users will be sent directly to where their party leader stands, while for towns, they will be teleported to where a home point may be set. Bring a Nexus Cape with you on your adventures, and you need not fear being left behind by your comrades ever again! *The teleportation will be rendered ineffective if the party leader changes areas in the middle of casting. It is recommended that party members communicate their intent to teleport beforehand. *Characters may teleport only to areas they have previously visited. *Teleporting to areas introduced in expansions is possible only after installation and code registration have been completed for the expansion pack in question. This does not, however, affect one's eligibility to obtain the Nexus Cape.

Oh man, I’m gonna be lazier than ever with this thing… “I’ll meet you there in a sec, just gotta get something from the AH /em goes afk for 5 minutes “ok omw” -warp Or this could be good for some laughs. “Ok, using my cape, warping now” -leader passes leadership to another.

Guess they didn't sell enough of the second and third addon after people had played the first so they're bringing out the big guns. |

Hmm, so does this mean if we ever got Phoenix as an avatar she'd have an AoE Regain buff? O. O HAWT DAMN (or as her favor buff) Too little too late though, with XIV on the horizon. Last edited by Malacite; 11-02-2009 at 10:00 AM. |

| Re: Introducing the Add-on Trilogy Bonus Gift! (11/02/2009) I'm assuming the mimeo dies on zone, or at least becomes unusable. Otherwise, yes, oh myyyyyy. If you're lucky, it'll be the Astral Flow. Even then, I think it would be more likely that it would only do it a third at a time; the first BP after AF would be %100 HP for all party members in range, second full MP, and third full TP. Full HP/MP/TP THREE TIMES would be totally broken, especially considering I'd have to imagine Phoenix would grab epic levels of enmity while that happens. Although I'm sure someone out there wants to fuck around with this and a Hundred-fist-kraken-souleater-monk. |

Don't think it does at least not right now. I believe tractoring counts as zoning? ... and it has worked so far I believe.

Well the game does distinguish between zoning into the same zone and zoning out (as evidenced by the fact that you retain enmity on mobs that can still track you down.) Some dude on the discussion page for the feather claims he's gotten it by dying at the base of the plateau and having 3 BLMs tractor him up in sequence; but this claim was brought into question because the Tractor page claims you can't have Reraise and Tractor at the same time, and he specified he uses Reraise. But if the guy is legit then the feather is also not as epic as most people think, since he claims it prevents further actions for 10 secs upon use, cockblocking your skillchain attempts. An I Wing would probably be better for raw offence against anything that can be hurt with skillchains, although obviously the full HP/MP recovery makes the feather useful in a different way.
