I didn't see the security token for sale on the site, but I already have one already anyway. This stinks, the chocobo and the tarutaru minis are really the only thing I wanted (well, there's other things I wanted, but not for the prices listed). I guess I just have to cross my finger and hope the chocobo offer is still around whenever the tarutaru minis are released.

I was debating doing this, but I'm wondering how the in-game item gets linked to your account. My thinking is if I ordered two I might be able to pass the in-game stuffed chocobo to a friend (if it were some sort of transferable code used on Playonline or in-game). But if it's the type of deal where SE links the purchase to an account via the email address you provide then that wouldn't work.

How have they handled this in the past?

The item is not linked the the credit card, so you can give the code that comes with it to another friend. If you do use the code, you can not give it to a friend as it is R/EX. If you buy it, and give one to a friend, you can do that, but it can only work with a RL friend unless you can eamil the person the code.
