Ya, people will be frantically looking for the Dark Rider's horse droppings and they will get discovered in the first few minutes after it resets.

I'm just dissapointed at the fact that Kupofried rings will only be given to 11 players per Conquest tally.

Ok, say the average server has about 2500-3000 players, and 11 players per week get a Kupofried's Ring. I'll average it out at 2750 since that makes my math easier

2750/11 = 250 Weeks

52 Weeks = 1 Year

250/52 = 4.8 Years.........Until everybody on the current server could possibly have one. That is if most of those people haven't left already and been replaced with new people.

The problem with my equation is this: You also have to consider in how many new people appear on a regular basis and how many people also have mules that they play with. The other thing to factor in is: suppose somebody gets a tablet twice in 2 different zones then that possible ring would be gone for that week.

Are you off your rocker? If you can only see them when you're really close, and if they can appear on any point of walkable terrain in those zones, do you realize how insanely freaking hard it's going to be just to find the tablet? Do you not realize that besides that, there's 30 zones those tablets could be in, so there's a 2/3 chance it's not even in the zone you're searching? Never mind the nerve-wrecking realization that any given person on /sea could be competition.

If you thought Meriphataud Mountains is annoyingly long to traverse, try walking over every square on the map, see how long that takes you. Even if you do there's no guarantee you passed close enough to the tablet to see it when you passed over the square it was in.

There's no need for any "SE BS," finding the tablets is going to be an epic undertaking, and with everyone hoping to score a Kupofried's ring, the intense competition will make it even more a matter of insane luck. This is literally a geography-based lottery.

I sure am going to enjoy the bonuses though.

If only I still had my Dragonball Radar. I'm sure I could make an adjustment to make it find Tablets.

Actually, anyone else like the potential here for roaming parties to catch on? Not to mention more competitive farming, and people generally out scouring the landscape for stuff.

If the Skill-up bonus is strong enough I'll actually level Great Sword for my PLD. The thought of being able to sleep to 100 TP -> Spinning Slash -> Icarus Wing > Atonement (Light) for certain BCs is giving me a hard-on.

Truth be told though, I even thought about jumping on WAR and skilling up Great Sword myself. It is pretty high saying I used Great Sword before I got on Great Axe and Axe. I got on WAR the other day and skilled up Dagger and Marksmanship for THF. I still want to get out there and level club for no reason and H2H for whenever I decide to return to MNK.

I'm hoping for a good boost to skillups. Blue Magic and Ninjutsu are 8~10 levels behind because of soloing on EP-DC for most/all the way to 37.

A boost to capping dagger would be nice too, but it's easier to get a lvl75 skillup group then it is to get a lvl37 one.

Man I would hate to be in the party at dunes that first discovers the tablet when switching camps. The clickfest and pissed off reactions.

My NIN is 36 and i still get skill ups in Valk Sync PTs... I'm ashamed
