Agreed. Despite them not making an announcement ahead of time I was stil hoping they would sneak in the new medals. Oh well, time to switch back to Bastok and start working on getting my two medals back.

I don't sit around making a huge wish list of shinies I want SE to give me in an update. I was quite content with the game as it was before today. So I'm vexed that SE felt the need to take something away like this.

If you're skilling up on Campaign mobs, in all likelihood you're hitting on something that people campaigining are tanking for you, not to mention if your weapon is seriously underskilled, you won't be hitting for jack, which will let you get away with next to no enmity. Suck it up and go to CN like everyone else.

Do you know (probably you do but to make my point) how a pain it is to try to skill-up Club as a whm in these skill-up parties ? They all ask you to stay back a heal... BS I want skill-ups.

And in campaign I was healing the said tank and skilling up Club and healing at the same time !

WHM/NIN. A friend and I both went WHM/NIN to the tree last week, and it was easy as cake with quick skillups. I got from 140 -205 club over the course of two days, just playing before work, while also getting a decent amount of Kindred Seals and loot to sell. I've also done the skillup party route, and it isn't that hard. Tell people you aren't going to heal, and if they don't have another healer, they better fucking come /DNC.

ETA: I'd be shocked to hell if you actually need to craft the oxblood or angelskin orb. I very much expect them to come from pop NMs or a BCNM of types that you gotta finish to get the gobbybag quest done.

Not easy ways, but I find it a tad hard to stomach that they'll leave the way to obtain more inventory space to the high end HNM shells and the super rich exclusively.
